if i was thinking, i would've done a *before* pic. but i didn't. suffice it to say, this is a massive change.

about 6 inches off the bottom, a heavy bang which i have never done before, and about 5 shades darker than my natural color. 

I think she did a great job of zooey meets nicole - "hello, how do you do"

i love it. it's fun, and i have a little hop in my step now. 

i wish she would've left a bit more of the length (i asked for 3-4 inches off..baby steps people, baby steps) but it's really healthy now. 

so, there you have it. what do you think?

{the great reinvention of 2010}

well i guess we're not even 3 months in, but whatevs. with all my new purchases, i'm feeling refreshed! saucy even! but there's still a few more things to revive.
 remember when i talked about needing a new 'do? i've hemmed and hawed over what to do. i couldn't seem to figure out what exactly i wanted. but i've reached the point where it doesn't even matter anymore, i need these crunchy ends and washed out color gone!

so, the d-day ('do-day, not the invasion of normandy) is this evening. here's what i've decided on:

+ a few more layers

i love it all. i hope it works on my dome. with a similar face shape, blue eyes and winter pale skin, i'm thinking (hoping) it will be great. 

add in an eyebrow wax, and i am going to feel like a brand new woman!

(p.s. vicki - i'm still hoping for a similar reaction as your recent makeover)

{in need of a new 'do}

i am completely bored with my hair. seriously, watching paint dry is more exciting than what i've got going on top of this head. i haven't trimmed my bangs since two days before my wedding (5 months ago now), because I thought that i didn't want them anymore. now i think i'm missing them. ugh.

normally, when i look at a celebrity magazine, i look at clothes, accessories, shoes, etc. now, the first thing i scope out is hair. telling, no? so here's what i'm crushing on:

i might have a slight girl crush on her (note: post-harlow, not pre) and i am loving her hair right now! she's in the latest marie claire uk (and after she had her son sparrow, can you believe it?!)

if i have a slight girl crush on nicole, i have the hugest of crushes on zooey. she's adorable, married to ben from death cab, sings with m.ward and a great actress! i love her sense of style. puffy heart love.

yet another one i love. if only i could pull off some of her looks.

i guess my dilemma lies in: to bang, or not to bang? to go dark dark brown, or just semi-dark brown? to layer or not to layer? ahhh, so many questions. i like them all, maybe i'll just throw a dart and pick one. or, you could give me your input.
