i have them. it's hard to be cheerful when your temperature high is 20 degrees. thick knit sweaters and knee-high socks make me feel a bit heavy (and the occasional long johns too, i'm such a wuss).
this morning, i stumbled across a quote that just might help.
"the flowers of late winter and early spring occupy places in our hearts well out of proportion to their size."
-gertrude s. wister
aside from the fact that her last name is one letter away from being truly awesome, I think she was on to something. therefore, i have changed my desktop background to this:
(i sooo want that to be me. the hair, dress, boots, in that field, everything. me.)
i just might swipe this up too.
starting the morning off with the smell of flowers, and having it linger throughout the day will surely work wonders. p.hilosophy says you need this if:
- you love the smell of fresh flowers - check
- you love a rich, foaming lather - check
- you are a true multi-tasker - umm..no, but i'd only be using this as body wash, not shampoo 1/2 check
- you want to start or end your day feeling happy - CHECK
guess i need it.
(plus, there's a sale going on right now. 15% off all fragrance products w/ promo code "fragrance" at checkout. deal ends 1/29!)
and to complete the trifecta, i am going to stop at the market after zumba and purchase some flowers for the dining room table.
come on tiny flowers, let's see your big impact.
